Addressing mental health challenges among young individuals is a pressing societal issue. This kind of struggles among young people can have long-lasting effects on their lives. Our client is a startup that developed an app with the goal of identifying adolescents in moments of need through the use of AI, and providing them with real-time support and assistance. A well-designed and effective app has the potential to bring about positive, lasting change, influencing the mental health and well-being of users over an extended period of time. Also, mental health apps represent a growing sector within health technology, and this gives you an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes and accessibility.

You'll be joining a small and growing team to help them ship new features and refine existing ones, and being a kew contributor in advancing their product to the next level. Your responsibilities will be:

• Contribute significantly to advancing the product, concentrating on enhancing front-end development.
• Collaborate closely with the founders and CTO to jointly outline the product and engineering roadmap.
• Delivering new features, overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to implementation.
• Create, enhance, and fine-tune their adaptable workflow for recognizing and addressing challenges related to adolescent wellbeing.
• Craft outstanding user experiences enabling members to adeptly identify and navigate their own wellbeing and that of their friends and family.
• Establish a work environment characterized by technical prowess, openness, and a positive work experience.

You'll be ideal for this position if you have:

• at least 4 years of experience in software development
• Fullstack or front-end experience
• An interest in mental health and wellbeing
• An independent worker
• A strong communicator
• Experience with mobile application development in React Native
• Experience with Typescript, React, Redux, NodeJS and NestJS
